VL111 Modern combines classic Danish design with a contemporary aesthetic. The moulded wooden backrest provides support and freedom of movement, while the seat’s tilting function (Free Float) and rotation work together to create a flexible and dynamic sitting experience.

The gentle tilt ensures comfort even during long meetings and working hours. The Modern series unites function and a clean visual expression in a chair designed for today’s professional environments.

MATERIALS

Modern details and a clean expression

VL111 Modern is made from FSC-certified wood and offered with frames in chrome or powder-coated colours that reflect contemporary interior trends. Seat upholstery is available in fabric or leather from leading Danish manufacturers, combined with form-stable high-quality foam for optimal comfort.

Each chair is assembled at VERMUND’s workshop in Aalborg, where craftsmanship and modern design come together in a refined and durable whole.

ERGONOMIC DESIGN

Active sitting comfort

VL111 Modern is designed for workplaces where flexibility and comfort must be integrated into a clean, modern aesthetic. The tilting function (Free Float) and rotation work in harmony to allow small, natural movements that relieve pressure and support a healthy, varied sitting posture.

The chair is available with either return rotation or gas lift, making it adaptable to both meeting rooms and agile work settings. The softly contoured backrest offers balanced and supportive comfort throughout the working day.
