Warranty and claims

VERMUND offers a 6-year warranty on all products.

Should any fault occur during the warranty period, VERMUND is responsible for supplying, repairing or replacing defective parts. VERMUND will assess whether repair or replacement is the appropriate solution to meet our obligations under the product warranty.

The 6-year warranty covers:

All defects related to:

  • Frame and steel components
  • Wood and lacquered elements
  • Moving parts such as castors, gas lifts, swivels and seat mechanisms
  • Faults in leather and fabric (see exceptions below)

The 6-year warranty does not cover:

  • Wear and tear from everyday use
  • Damage caused by improper use beyond normal behaviour
  • Incorrect care or maintenance of materials contrary to VERMUND’s recommendations
  • Natural variations in grain, colour or texture in materials such as wood and leather
  • Faults in leather or textiles provided by the customer
  • Products made to specific customer requests that fall outside VERMUND’s certification for strength, durability or stability

Please note:

Wood, leather and textiles may dry out or fade if placed in direct sunlight or near a heat source.

VERMUND always matches components and materials to ensure a consistent look and feel. However, when ordering additional products at a later stage, we cannot guarantee exact colour, texture or structural match due to natural variation and batch differences.

An upholstered chair in leather or fabric will naturally change in appearance over time. When first received, the upholstery may appear tight, but with regular use, the leather or fabric and inner foam will expand, leading to slight creasing, which is a normal and expected development.

All VERMUND products are tested by applicable European standards.

Any complaints under VERMUND’s warranty must be reported to our customer service at [email protected]/en within 30 days of the issue being discovered.
